Ok, so let's just say I'm stoopid and get that out of the way.
Anyway, I just turned my top case into a high-speed bright assed LED brakelight and it works great.
I also relocated my ECM as it was starting to get that rub thang going on. Got everything put back together and fired the bike up to make sure it would still run. Success! Purring like a kitten having a seizure. Then I heard a loud banging/crashing noise and turned to watch my new high-speed LED brakelight top case bouncing across the garage floor. Yep, I had forgotten to buckle it down when testing the brakelight. Only damage is to my ego and the reflector that now hides my LEDs. Can I order the reflector through HD, or will I have to contact Hepco Becker? Anybody got a part number for it? I would appreciate any help. Now I'm going to go beat my head against the wall some more.

capitol cycle (or maybe capital cycle) was able to get parts for my Hepco side bags. They can probably get top bag parts as well.

Lousy communication, and some execution issues (they put the stupid Hepco logo on upside down), but they got the parts.

IIRC, I was able to find the bezel of which you speak within the H-B parts line when I was contemplating doing the same thing a few years back (I was afraid that if I got in there and cracked mine, I might not be able to replace it so I checked first before embarking).

Once I confirmed that the line was not Buell specific and that it appeared that I could get a replacement, I proceeded without hesitation.

Check with a Hepco Becker dealer for the top case bezel. Again, IIRC, it wasn't Buell specific at the time I found it.

Snowhoney, yes I broke the stock reflector on the top case.
I found the part number on the H-B website. Shot off an email to them to locate a dealer in my area.
For now, it's super glue to the rescue.
Thanks for the input everyone.

These guys also carry Hepco-Becker.

This is where I plan on getting my topcase (if I decide I need it.)

Snowhoney was a spammer, he/she is gone now.

According to the instructions that came with the luggage, the part number for the reflector is 92145-05Y.

Thanks Frank. I ordered one from capital cycle this morning. The super glue held up for 93 miles of rain today and that is one bright son of a gun.
