Will someone please do me a favor and look up the PN for a couple parts I am planning to buy for future use. I like to be armed with this info any time I enter the H-D dealer. My bike is a 2008 XB12XT with stock muffler.

I would like the PN for the latest version of drive belt and also the PN for the rear muffler bands. I intend to replace the bands when/if I paint or ceramic coat the muffler. I already have the front band and exhaust clamp. Thanks in advance!

I believe the part numbers are as follows:

G0500.1AKE - Drive belt
S1123.02a8a - Muffler strap, rear (2)

Not sure on whether they are the latest or not.

These are the part number for 2009 XB12X/XT. They should be the same as the 2008.

I have recently had really great luck ordering parts from my local H-D (spit) dealer that has never been a Buell Dealer and was one of those won't give you the time of day-H-D (spit) dealer when it came to anything Buell.

In the past they would just say nope don't handle them, now they have all the electronic parts manual and they have happily looked up the parts and ordered them just as if they were a dealer that cared!

I just don't damn get it? Buell is in business, H-D (spit) dealer could give a damn, Buell gets shut down and H-D (spit) dealer is now your best friend?

I went in to see if I couldn't match up the fuel pump terminals with a Roade Barge and I was taken back when they asked what year and bike and I told them "2008 Buell Ulysses, but could you just match it from one of the Harleys with FI?" and he answered "I've got the parts manuals here"

Now I am really like FU H-D(SPIT!) you could have done this before you Yucktards!

I asked my local H-D only dealer (about 20 miles) shortly after I bought mine in Oct. 2009 if they could get Buell parts. They just laughed and said absolutely not. Funny thing is, one of their mechanics or former mechanics owns a Buell. (Not sure if he was working there at that time.) I have not asked them since then.

Adamec's HD in Jacksonville, Fl has always come through for me & my desire for Buell parts.
Their parts desk is 1st rate & their service center does a great job with anything Buell.
Just sayin......

Kudo's to Adamec. I drove around the continent this summer and wore out the rear tire by the time I got to Florida. Having no joy with the Daytona dealer, I went to Jacksonville to Adamec. They did not have the tire in stock but insisted on finding one for me at another dealer and set up an appointment for me in Gainsville for an oil change and a new rear in an hour. They did not have to do it, I'm a foreigner from Canada and they probably will never see me again. I wish I lived in Jacksonville just to be one of their Customers. The guys in Gainsville were great to.
