Seems to me there was a helmet thread last year and someone was about to purchase the Nolan Trilogy Helmet. I like the concept. Just looking for a review.
Thanks in advance

I have owned nothing but Nolan helmets for the last ten years. The thing is with helmets is what's good for one rider is not good for another. Every manufacturer seems to use a different shaped head for their design. The Nolan fits me perfect but someone with a more square head will have pressure points. When buying a helmet, spend a day in the store trying all the brands on. Wear them for at least 20 minutes and see if you feel any pain anywhere. A helmets fit is more important than style or features. Get the one that feels good. If a Nolan fits you then I highly recommend them.

if one has some pressure points but for some reason you really like it, some people use a cutter and cut a slight piece of the fore head part or even with pressure of the hands can give that little bit extra to create the comfort, have friends that have done it i really don't think that little bit extra will be any problem

I've had a Trilogy for more than a year now and I'm very pleased with it. Good comfort, amazing visibility, low wind noise, bluetooth works great, it stays absolutely fog free with the insert, it is super light weight. Great expensive helmet. Only gripe that I have is that the visor is either all the way closed or all the way open, no settings in between.
I used the Dremel to make a notch in the opening mechanism/pivot to have one slight open setting

I've been using a Nolan N103 for 3 years now and while it isn't the Trilogy, it was a dead heat between the two until the dealer said he'd be inclined to deal a little on the N103.

I liked the lighter weight of the Trilogy but found the chin bar thingy to be a little odd as it didn't seem substantial enough to be of any real protection in a get off at speed. It wasn't a deal breaker though and I felt like it was something I could live with.

In addition to those virtues, I really like the ease and functionality of the the N-com stuff and, like most modern Nolans, you can dissassemble the helmet down to a point and clean the thing with ease. I know some consider it blasphemy to clean a helmet but I personally like it when my bucket smells laundry fresh...its like feng shui for the brain

Ordered mine yesterday. I like options and this seems to be full of them...
