is anybody, or has anybody used this battery in your Ulysses yet? If so, what's your opinion of it? I can purchase one and it's cheaper than a Yuasa. It's factory activated and ready to go, plus it's Made in the USA!!! |

I'm on my 2nd one (bad stator took out the first one) and I've never had any problems with them, plenty of juice! |

I put one in 12/08, still working good. The Deka by East Penn are actually labeled several different ways. When I bought mine it was marketed as a 'Big Crank' http://www.batterymart.com/p-Big-Crank-ETX14-Batte ry.html It is the Deka ETX14 by East Penn... IIRC someone also bought one from an Auto parts store with a slightly different marketing name, but same battery. |

http://www.dekabatteries.com/default.aspx?pageid=8 43 If you call your closest distributor they can tell you what retail stores carry them. Got mine at Star Auto Parts in San Bernardino. $75 and works great. |

The stock battery has the terminals cast all the way flush to the front side of the OEM battery, where this one is a little short. There should be 2 washer (spacers) that go between the wire and terminal on the Buell installs so the wires can still lay across the face of the battery. Check inside the box, my washers (spacers) were missing. |
