Sucks that the bike finder doesn't have a listing for XP.

Nice deal on the bags.

Works for me, but I only see two:

That answers the question if any 2010 XP's were made.

I also found these, I wonder if I can get one cheap

Not sure where my ride of the valkyries post went...

Should have an XP lead the homecoming ride playing ride of the valkyries.

That's an awesome price on the topbox Eric, I just can't afford one right now $$
I'm hurting for some gear a little more.
Thanks Court! I wanted the handguard lights when I bought mine, but couldn't score them from the dealer....bummer, hey I tried. I AM a reserve dispatcher and a member of CERT but they still wouldnt budge. Should have borrowed one of my brothers sheriff badges....

I do have a concern, I thought the Outdoorsman bags were waterproof???
When I opened mine this morning they had about an inch of water in them... I had the bike parked in the rain Monday.

There were/are no requirements to buy the law enforcement stuff. I bought a bunch of it . . switches, brackets and so forth by just ordering at the dealer.

The lights are plain old Whelan TIR3's. I've got 3 on the back and the ones on the hand guards.

It must be waterproof! It held water didn't it? Seriously though, when it was de-policed did they seal the mounting holes with goo? Mine has remained watertight. I didn't want to pay for the $$$ whelen TIR 3 light mounts from buell, so I made a couple from aluminum- just cut some flat bar and then mounted to my storm guards. I am running amber "Strobes and More" lights in conjunction with the turn signals (they flash 3 times to every one blink of the turn signal), and a 4 light "Strobes and More" light as an additional brake light (Set to 3 rapid, 3 slow pulses when I brake). They are so bright I noticed an immediate difference in the cages around me. They leave more room and seem more respectful. Combined with the HID's I installed, I am MUCH more visible. The rear turn signal LED's cant slightly following the angle of the mount hole on the bag, but I am hoping that makes me a bit more visible from an angle- they still shine bright from right behind.

The XP has the dark engine surface. How is that cleaned? Looks like it could not be waxed. Is that right? HD seems to be using the dark coatings a lot.

One thing with the XPs is that one day some police department is going to start switching to new bikes and putting their XPs out to pasture. Might not happen for a while though.

I had thought the XPs were only made early in 2009 model year. 2010s are a surprise.

Just purchased a 2010 XP in black. Still in transit from Hd which is no big deal since there is a foot of snow in Ohio. Cant wait to add it to the garage next to my new 1125CR. Gonna be a good spring!!

I have an 09 XP. I really like it, but Ray Price told me that I couldnt get the lights(maybe local law differences) at all without law enforcement or firefighter ID. Mine is actually for sale if anyone knows someone who is interested. Nothing wrong with the bike, just the owner

Does anyone have a pic of how the factory mounted the red and blue lights to the forks?

Hello i just purchased my first Buell this week I got a 2009 XB12XP I was wondering if any of you XP owners have any experience with removal of siren and front flashers.I got the shop manual but it doesn't cover anything on the police package. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
