It finally stopped raining today so I took the Uly out to get it even dirtier, rode to Black Bear in Newmarket about 70 miles from home. Apart from the free doughnuts i wanted the handle bar bag part # 91776-09Y, they didn't have it in stock and it's discontinued  Walked outside and phoned the shop I got the bike from, they told me a week or so ago HD emailed all dealers about 7pm UK time telling them to order any accessories they want as it will be their last chance. seems by the time most UK dealers got around to ordering, just about everything was gone. Just to round off the day on the way home the speedo kept reading about 30% of the speed i was doing, then working OK, guess I could have crap on the speed sensor. Stopped off at the gun shop close to home and it seems 12g cartridges go up on Monday, did you know you can get two 250 boxes in each bag  | ||

Touratech makes a handlebar bag for the Uly. In all likelihood, it's a better quality product - just won't say Buell on it. | ||

Never even thought of them, just had a look at their web site and they do indeed sell a bag for the bars and an underseat bag. Thanks for the tip | ||

Check out a military surplus store. Bags of all kinds for a whole lot less. | ||

Don't blame the dealer. We came in at 6am and started ordering only to find things gone before we were done. Buell was selling off excess inventory of slow moving product. That it was slow moving it would follow they would be soon discontinuing. These are not service parts but accessories. My suggestion is that any thing else you may have been considering buying you would be wise to order sooner, rather than later. Be it Buell made or after market. | ||

Don't see anyone blaming any dealer in this thread. I spent an hour last night going through e bay, there are 3 UK dealers trying to sell stuff way over MSRP. Guess they are hoping people will panic buy. Phoned several UK dealers today no one has the bag so it looks like it's coming from Nebraska. | ||
