I would love for someone to tell me this is common, but none of my other Buells ever had one. The bike has not even made it through the break in period yet. Time to call the dealer......

Other than the fact that misery loves company, why would you want it to be common?

My left one went at 20K miles, sorry about misery and company. When replacing check for blemish on tube, also it has been suggested that it would probably be wise to also get fork bushing.

Mmmm...body paint....

Sorry Ken, just checked your profile ; )

Try the film trick. Remember "film"? LOL. Take a piece of 35mm film, or something similar - thin, flexible but not ...um...flaccid (sorry, still stuck on your pic LOL), work it into the leaking seal and use it as a wiper to see if you dislodge any debris from the seal.

Thanks Joe! I'll give it a try before I call for warranty service. BTW, My cyclone came from Fredrick MD, bought it from a woman that worked there.(Her husband had an X1) Drove 12 hrs there, loaded it up and drove 12 hrs back to Florida. The things we do for our Buell's....
I forgot about my profile pic, it's been there for about 6 or 7 years. Should I change it? : )
