I recall something mentioned in the "big" Comfort Kit thread about some missing parts?

My comfort kit just arrived and I'm a bit too lazy to sift through 400+ posts to find the info.

What are the potential missing parts?

TIA.

The inner right side scoop was missing on ~10 of the early kits; I got one of them. You should be OK. Your kit should include an inner right side scoop, an outer right side scoop, the under-seat fan duct, the header shield, and a small bag of screws.

And 2 hose clamps to hold the heat shield on.

There's an instruction sheet in there too, it has a parts list, last page.

Mine finally came in today, I guess I better check it out before I leave the shop.

Should not be a problem . . . there is a parts inventory on the enclosed I-Sheet. Any problem, let me know. Easy fix.

By the way . . when one of you opens the box . . please take a photo "as packed" after you open lid and before touching the contents and SEND it to me.

Dave- here's a pic from another thread:

If you're getting cooked worse than on your 06, maybe something is missing.

I'm not sure what the "clips" are (C0144.T) but I don't seem to see any in my kit.

Looks like they're just cable ties?

That clip is a clip to hold the preload cable in place -- it was already inserted into the duct in my kit. The kit lists the foam strips separately also, but they were in place on the duct as well.

My Comfort Kit was installed by the dealer as part of my purchase BUT, when I asked for the instruction/installation sheets I was told that the tech discarded them! Errr!

I'd like to have them to be sure all was done right and for future reference when working on the bike. Does anyone have a copy they could email me? Ths.

They were posted in another thread, I am looking for them too for other reasons. Anyway, it is a 2 piece scoop, header heat shield, and a fan duct. A few clamps and screws and junk, but thats basically it. Pop off your seat, if it looks like the above photos, your golden.
