I haven't had a chance to go to the dealership to have "a look" but does anyone know if the XB12X front upper fender (part no. M1662.1AKMBP) will fit on an XB12XT? I'm referring to it as a direct bolt on.

Yep. I believe you have to remove the bracket at the bottom of the headlight, and replace it with the fender.
