Yesterday I replaced the low fuel sensor on the fuel pump. The job went smoothly, but interestingly the fuel pump seems "quieter" now. Even with very little fuel in the "tank" the initial few seconds of running before starting sounds quieter.

Engine runs fine; no problems at all. Anyone else notice a "volume" change after removing/installing fuel pump?

I noticed a 'tone' change after my fuel pump was replaced. It went from a high pitched whine to a lower, gravelly, churning sound during priming with the new one. Interesting.
