I came across this and wondered if anyone has tried it. They list a model for the 883 and 1200 Sportster, so that would fit a Buell, right? Looks like it would make slow going, like on a trail or in congested traffic, much easier. Here's a link to it: http://www.rekluse.com/ProStart.shtml Thanks! doc in Arkansas |

Oh. Well, that would change things! Maybe they'll do one in the future. I didn't like the Uly's off-throttle response at all when I first got it, but have adapted so well that I never notice it anymore. I guess I've learned to just whack it open and go! Still, the Rekluse idea looks pretty neat. thanks Mark for the fit info! |

I see this post is now over a year old and Rekluse has still not made a clutch for us. As a user of Rekluse clutches in dirt bikes I can tell you it would be welcome in the Uly for dirt road work, the Rekluse has a way of smoothing out low end power delivery and keeps the tire hooked up, that is unless you want it to break loose. I can't help but wonder if Rekluse would make this a priority if more Uly owners spoke up about wanting one? http://www.rekluse.com/prostart.shtml |
