i find that when i go past 120 kms the wind on my head gets almost unbarrable, as the riding possition is high and i am tall i find it hard to tuck down. i am not liking cruising on the uly since my neck is taking a beeting. i only really saw how bad it was when i took my buddies electra glide for a spin. does anybody have any suggestions.

Invest in a good helmet.... I used to ride with an HJC, however switched to an arai and it cut the wind by half, also maybe you could get one of those 4 inch screens, and btw man Have a good x-mas, we're doing a christmas eve ride tm morning down in vic maybe out to JR, email me if you want to come out and play

Try a Rumble strip:
http://www.rumble-strips.com/

worked great for me and my passenger and its only $15 to try.

Put it place with tape first to make sure it works and to verify the correct position.

I get my helmets from
http://www.helmetshop.com/
and
http://www.brocktoncycle.com/

I don't remember which one I last ordered from, but I got a RF1000 Shoei with replica graphics for about $350. Both have great customer service.

I recently got a Scorpion helmet. It's was a bit shy of the $400 mark, but it sure seems to cut the air better than the Buell helmet (AGV?) I prev had.

I think the seat goes for around $210.00. Daves gives Badweb members 10% off. I'd talk to him if you seriously want a low seat

*bump*
i am experiencing the same buffeting problems on my uly. have been looking online for reviews of these "rumble-strips"
not finding much. seems inconcievable that one of these little stick on deals could do that much.
i put a couple layers of weather stripping on my helmet and ran a few exits down the freeway, exited, removed the weatherstripping and rode back.
i must say, noticable difference. i'm not convinced yet, but sold enough to risk the 15 bucks. will let you know how it works out

I have a tall (26") windshield from Parabellum, and the buffeting I get is wind from the lower portion under the windshield coming along the airbox cover. I found this to stop if I covered the path of the wind with my hand, or placed my arm across my chest. I am going to add a small set of fork mounted clear wind deflectors from Memphis Shades to cure the problem.
