There's a detailed favourable test report (not a group test) on the new XT in Motorcycle (Sport & Leisure) magazine this month if anyone is interested. (Message edited by strada on April 09, 2008) |

And there's a favorable and not so favorable review in the LA Times Highway 101 section this week: Overall, the T is not perfect in every aspect but is perfect for the touring rider who lives to enjoy the scenery. The author praises the bike with a "dopey grin" for its torquey power but disses it because it vibrates her feet. Other likes and dislikes: -- likes the underslung exhaust but dislikes the heat roasting her right thigh. -- likes the spacious luggage but thinks they're ugly. -- likes the various comfort bits and lowered seat compared to the first iteration Ulysses. Oh well, I guess it didn't suit her to a "T". |

That's the best part about motorcycles...not every bike is perfect for every person. |

Other than the vibrating feet (never noticed it in my test rides), I'd agree with the reviewer. From my test rides, though, I'd say it is a very fun bike with some character that you like or you don't. |
