Has anybody rode the old Nez Perce trail also called the Magruder Road between Darby, Montana and Red River Ranger Station Idaho? 115 miles of rough scenic gravel road---

I've ridden the first 70 miles from the Elk City side, it was really good gravel, you could ride it on a gold wing. The scenery was very disappointing, not a ride I would repeat.

Grew up riding an XR75 and Trail 90 on those back roads. I am sure they have way more traffic now, but they were pretty desolate when I was there. Perfect for drifting and pushing the bike through the corners. Dont know about the poor scenery, I was too buzy watching the road. I would love to ride there again.

We rode it last year.

Very desolate. One of the most remote areas in the lower 48.

Go here and ask. Lotsa locals know and ride it regularly......conditions permitting:
