I'm in need of a pair or even just one ULY foot peg for a modification. Anybody out there have one or a pair that they could do without? Let me know what you want for them. What do they go for new?

Looks like about $15.76.

I'd be willing to trade straight up a new ULY oil Temp dipstick for a pair of rider foot pegs.

I'll take that offer! What is it and why do I need one? PM me for more info. I'll get back with you in the am. Rider pegs are from a 2006 Uly. Pegs only... no pin or springs.

Anyone looking for a set of American Sport Bike pegs?

I have a set I only used once, didn't like them and put the stokers back on.

1080;

That's the ones.

One note: They were a very sung fit in the mounts. So tight they defeated the springs, so I filed down the sides a bit. That isn't why I don't like them. To be honest they are too aggressive! With a lugged sole boot, you have to make an effort to lift your foot off of the peg to shift or break. In normal riding not an issue but I feared problems in a panic stop situation. Perhaps if I gave them more of a chance I would have gotten used to them but, well, I didn't.

PS; I only have the rider pegs, not the passenger pegs.

You could join them with a spring and you'd have a bear trap.

I have the pegs from American Sport Bike - they are real sharp. Haven't ridden far with them - did notice that at stops my pant leg brushes against them causing small abrasions. Will file the tips down & see what it feels like. They are a tight fit, used some lube and they move well in their mounts.
I tend to keep the stock stuff - nice to have when it comes time to sell the bike, so my stock pegs aren't for sale.

Andrej has come forth with my needed footpegs. I'll post some photos after I've modified them, and then you all can vilify me.
