So awhile ago I went in to the dealer because when I pulled my seat off I noticed a tab was broken. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if that was a warranty issue. Well they waited for the Buell rep and he said yes. I really didn't see that coming. I'll go in and get the new seat in a few more hours. A cold ride at 19 degrees F though. |

I have one broken also, but I have the 07 seat on my 06 (and it broke when I tried the wrong way to pick the bike up after a fall). I think it would be a real push for me to pull that off! Dennis |

Can't hurt to ask? I was told maybe the seat went on with the tab over the post and when riding it broke. I kind of doubt that though. I did notice I am back on my tip toes though. Recently I have been able to flat foot the left side in a stop. I am a good 3/4 of an inch higher and I like the herder feel of the seat. I suppose this one will break in also. Mu other seat actually made me slide forward a bit when I slid back because the front had broken in so much more then the farther back spot. |
