Champion spark plug 10R12X is the new foul resistant 08' ULY spark plug number. I called my dealer to get that number. The Buell demo employee in Rapid City, SD told me how Buell had Champion develop a better spark plug to resist fouling. That was while I was demoing the 08' during Sturgis week.

My 06' spark plug number is 10R12A and that is straight from Table 4, page 22, in my ULY motorcycle owner's manual.

I don't know the recommended gap for the 08' plug but for the 06' plug it is .035" or .89mm

Personally, I've only fouled a plug once and that was on the rear cylinder before I did the air box cover mod ( bored holes to be like the 07' ) Haven't fouled one since. I might have blipped the throttle now and then to cause the fouling. Not any more.
