I'm definitely digging this bike... Tranny so much smoother than the x1! Though for some reason I now feel like I'm riding on top of the front wheel...doesn't quite seem as natural as the x1. I guess I'll see in the mtns this weekend... |

I understand what you mean about the riding on top of the front wheel thing; first time I rode one, it felt a bit odd coming from a sportbike background where you're tucked in; but I got totally used it quickly and dig it. It feels more stable, and under control in normal riding; heck, even going fast, it feels great now. Have a good ride; you'll come away with any doubts shed. |

Me too-I traded up from a GoldWing and I was feeling much as a hood ornimate must feel. It is like just sitting out front of the bike. I had forgoten that is what it should feel like to ride a bike. The diffference between sitting in the middle car or the front car on a wild roller coaster ride! |

Try taking the windshield off. That gives you an even more out in front feel, or at least it did for me as I normally use the taller Zero Gravity shield. For cruisin' around the city, I like it with only the fly screen! |
