Chad,

You are obviously envious aren't you? That is the best picture I've seen of your near falling off incident so far. Are you OK?

Actually I couldn't believe he was even going to take the picture. I had been following a Jeep Grand Cherokee and two other cars for a mile or so at the speed of lint.

It is my understanding that due to the sheer physical and mental stress and concentration of holding up a Ulysses on your knee for a posed "action" photo precludes the use of your hands for anything else.

Wood? I though they were made of Gummy Bears, Isn't that why they grab and shake so much?

That is the rack that comes with the Buell hard top bag system. From what I've heard it can only be bought with the top bag. It is really stout though.

If it were allowed, I'd put the trunk on and bungee a teddy bear or something to the triple tail.

That would be priceless when I passed sportbikes. LOL! : )

The day that picture was taken, a guy on a Gixxer 1000 was in front of me, and in the really tight stuff, where his massive power was a liability, I'd get the drive out of the corner and pass him until the straight, then he's leave me. He became determined to put distance between himself and me, and he overcooked a turn into a chicane....he had a little off road excursion, but saved it.

When I saw him in the pit I reminded him that *I* had the dual sport. LOL! : )

Chad,
There is definitely a satisfaction of passing someone that thinks you shouldn't be able to, with what you are riding.
Here are a few Killboy shots at Moroso at a SportBikeTracktime event.

Single cylinder Ktm shouldn't be able to ride around RC51 Hondas and R1 Yamahas.

The picture of my Uly was at an STT event.

I'm always wary of motards...they have a higher power to weight ratio of most any bike on the track. Just don't have the top speed.
