Not sure if this was posted elsewhere:

Saw this posted when looking for some auto stuff...

Buell is among "the rest" in Sales and Service. H-D is "among the best" in the same categories.

Aren't we talking about the same people here (dealership staff)?

I'm curious where the info comes from. If it comes from surveys of ppl actually buying the bikes... I could see how the HD's come off so high, and the buells lower...

Cost of Ownership Buell is rated among the best. 5 Circles in good not bad, so yes the BMW and Ducatis are rated poor for Cost of Ownership. Look at Honda though. Buell is on par with Honda.

Surveys are a double edged sword; good as gold when you're the one on top. The bane of your very existence when you're on the bottom.

The problem with all surveys is, they are 100% hindsight.

The survey that counts is how each owner responds to questions in the field. The thing about my Buell is everyone asks me about the bike. There are so few Buells out there, as compared to other manufacturers, that it is critical that Buell keeps its owner base happy. By the way, I filled out a survey also.

I don't know how Victory did so well. Every one that I've ever ridden didn't shift worth a damn.
