There are several photos of the bike with the low seat posted at the American Sport Bike Night site: http://americansportbikenight.com/ Click on "pictures", then go to the 3rd page. "Buell XB12X orange right side" and "Buell XB12X orange low seat" both show the bike. This is the bike Reg Kittrelle rode for his report posted at SacBORG and re-posted here. | ||

I looked at the picture and is it me or does that uly look more orange than the picture on the buell website. The reason I'm asking is because i'm thinking of getting a Ss but I didn't care for the red looking sunset orange. Has anyone seen the Ss in person and is the color different than the color on buells website? | ||

CR, Evidently the "Barricade Orange" color is hard to capture in a picture. Several people have said it's "oranger" than the photos at Buell.com but not as orange as the photos at American Sport Bike Night. | ||

The Ss I saw and sat on yesterday appeared to have more orange to it than the picture above does. In my mind if you took a gallon of red paint and a gallon of orange paint (no, not yellow) and mixed them together you'd end up with the same color...... |
