According to mapquest.com, Olathe KS to Oconomowoc WI is 609.1 miles @ 10 hours 24 minutes driving time. I'm thinking cutting up thru DesMoines, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, and Madison would alleviate some of the boredom of the ride (roughly hwy 151). This would be for Bill and Rich in KS. Tripper can either pass the info along, or lead the way, at his choosing.  | ||

Paul, you are truly a sweetheart. I don't want to put anyone out of their room. I have my name listed in case of a cancelation and I am checking out nearby hotels. I think there are rooms available at the Holiday Inn, I think it is about 5 miles away from the Olympia. I shouldn't have waited til the last minute. | ||

Thanks Court,I think I could get in at the nearby Holiday Inn. I am trying to find something at Olympia to be close to the goings on. Paul is trying to help me out as well. I haven't made my reservations for Bonneville yet either...I must get on that right away. I'm such a slacker. P.S.
