Hey guys, tried using the search feature, but it feels like the forum is being hosted on 56k this morning. I just came off of a 300 mile road trip in and out of grime and rain, so things are pretty dirty on my bike, please bear with me on these pics I post. On my 99 x1, the shifter is getting pretty loose and I'm just starting to pass 10k miles. It looks like the bushing on the footpeg is the culprit. I've got 1/2" inward deflection of the top of the shift link toward the frame rail and it's just about to touch it. Should I just go with a shifter kit, or is there a washer/bushing kit out there to tighten it up? I've a HD dealer nearby if it's just a matter of picking up a part. Again, thanks for the patience/help; searching the forums today is SLOW, like 56k slow from the Seattle area.
