I'm wiring up 2 vertical Firebolt projector headlights in place of the oem lights. I want to use the oem harness with minimal chopping. Any ideas? Not too good at this wiring stuff... |

If you don't want to chop you can buy the relay harness with the connector type for the Firebolt bulbs from ebay. It will only require you pigtail the positive for each from the 1125 harness to control the relays. This will leave the 1125 harness intact. The Firebolt uses H3 bulbs and the 1125 is H8. There should be a HID installation diagram somewhere on here that you could follow. Different lights but same concept. I know I've posted one before. Or if you can get the H3 pigtails then you can use H8 HID conversion relay harness to adapt to the 1125. Either way you will still need to supply ground and a fused (+) from the battery. Before you go through all the trouble of using the Firebolt H3 bulbs , I would look at something that has better light output. Not sure if you have made a direct comparison from what you have to the Firebolt headlights? |
