I replaced Sprag with new clutch and housing reassembled and I am only getting spin no engagement any suggestions |

Check and make sure that the direction of the bearings in the sprag are the same as the old one. I know it sounds stupid, but I actually received one that had the bearings popped in backwards, which would result in a free spin of the starter. I caught it before installation and had it swapped as a defective part. |

As Brokenegg stated, these will work in both directions, but disassembly and reassembly is necessary to correct. This is very important.......What is the name and part number on the box of the original manufacturer. If you have it, please let us know. |
