Lately my 1125 wants to have a little throttle when starting what is wrong? The last 20,000 miles it worked fine. |

Starting from cold or warm? If warm/hot, a touch of throttle is normal (especially in hot weather). If cold starting, no throttle should be needed. |

You might want to try doing the TPS reset procedure. |

I have done a TPS reset about 4 or 5 times. It don't mater hot or cold on starting it wont do it all the time just about 3/4 the time. |

try cleaning the air motor that feeds idle air to the engine when the throttle valves are closed... (Message edited by oldog on June 12, 2014) |

to clean the air motor can you spray carb cleaner down the rubber tub in the air box? |

Yes, you can spray carb cleaner down the little rubber hose that pokes up into the air box on the right side near the throttle bodies. It is the hose that you have to pull up into the air box if you ever had the bottom of the airbox off. Be careful. If you spray it in there, then start it, it will likely spray it out all over everything. It happened to me. It will etch powder coatings and eat plastics. I would cover everything, wear safety glasses, and spray it with it idling only. |
