Looking for feedback from anyone who's fitted a Madstad screen? |

I've got Madstad brackets w/a 0g screen. I also have the Memphis Shades lowers. Together they work well to block the wind & make longer journeys very comfortable. I haven't run the brackets and screen without the lowers. Chris C |

My screen is tinted (gray). I don't think I've ever actually looked through it when riding. MY vision line is over the top of the shield. I'm c 6ft tall and think that the color of the screen is fairly irrelevant 99% of the time, other than "looks". Chris C |

Fotoguzzi, that lift bridge in Duluth is one of my favorites to ride across. Everyone should see that remarkable bridge. Thanks for the pic! |

BuellBill, Bought a Madstad adjustable bracket, a very tall windshield (I'm 6'7" tall in shoes), and the stiffer black acrylic flyscreen cover to mount the whole thing to. Cost me $320 shipped. Great set-up. I don't have a problem looking through the tinted windshield (get the first level of tint even if you want clear--the tint mutes the shiny edges of a completely clear windshield very nicely). The adjustable brackets allow me to either look over it (city riding), or look through it (extended highway riding). Does a very nice job blocking the wind. The mounting brackets didn't sit completely flush to the acrylic cover it mounted to, but those can be bent to fit. I just didn't do it at the time I installed it, but I will be sure to do that the next time I need to get inside the cowl. The owners at Madstad were very helpful with suggestions, and even custom cut my extra-high windscreen (I think it's 24 inches tall). I highly recommend this well-engineered product (coming from a Product Development Engineer in the automotive industry). |

Guy's and Gal's, thank you so much! This is GREAT feedback. Im going to order the 20" screen as I'm 6ft tall. By the way the photos are brilliant too. Give a good idea how it's all going to fit. I hail from Sydney and we have a very active but small group of Buell riders, all passionate about their bikes. I'm about to embark on a 3,000 mile ride around Tasmania. Never been there but supposed to be a bikers paradise. Enjoy the ride! Regards, Bill |

I have a Madstad 20" Adventure screen, and like it a lot. I am also a big fan of the Memphis Shades lowers, but one must be careful of fitment: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/680096.html?1337129902 (Message edited by dtaylor on February 11, 2014) |

Sweet! Thanks Dtaylor. That link works. Do you have any part #'s or model/yr for a Buell so I can order? Thanks |

I use the Madstad brackets w/ Buell tall clear wind shield w/ Laminar lip. Also used a set of HD Air Deflectors (used on Ultras)in the same way as Memphis Shades. The positive side is I can adjust those as they pivot. |

Hey nice video Foto man! I recognize the bridge at Red Wing and the Oliver bridge in Gary New Duluth. You must've been up there also for the VBR last summer? I swear that was me jumping those rocks at Spirit mountain! I think I officially have a case of cabin fever going now. |
