Ok, I'm getting to know my '06 Uly and wanted to take the airbox cover off and have a look at the filter. I figured it shouldn't be that bad because the bike only has 5500 miles on it. The manuals says to replace at 20,000 miles, so how bad could it be?

I'm guessing that bike didn't get ridden much over the winter |

You better watch out. Now that you have stolen his stash, there will likely be revenge... like chewing the wires or seat. |

Gotta admire those little mammals' resourcefulness. Thinking for the future! |

Cool looking dingle balls! I see you have dog food in there too. My kid left a bag of dog food in my garage and that must have been a signal for the mice to move in! They shredded everything. I had to use traps and poison and then I finally got rid of the dog food and they stopped coming around. |

Uly's run great on kibble! When we bought our house I took the oven apart to do a through cleaning, Under the bottom oven pan/plate was a bunch of kibble. At first I thought the crazy owner before me was baking / warming kibble for the dog, then it dawned on me it was the mices pieces |

I wonder how many times the little booger got a free ride. |

Leave a couple of mothballs in there, that'll keep'em away! |

A tip in one of the moto mags I get was to remove the battery and put it on a smart charger. Use the space where the battery was for an open box of mothballs. |

Recent experience here in the Fungus Forest makes me think that the previous owner may have known he had a rodent issue . . .the little green pellets in the rear of the plate look like "mouse bait" . . .possibly gathered up somewhere else and brought the the Ulyhome. |

Hey guys after thinking about it, I've decided I could harness nearly unlimited rodent power by adding a running wheel with a v belt or a chain to the habitrail setup. The belt drive can be connected to an adapter on the engine to provide supplementary power. Plus it all works out because while refueling, I can conveniently drop food pellets down into the air intake mesh at the same time. I think I got a winner here, dibs on patent too, so don't even think about it.

May the g-force be with you ! Had a bud with a softtail custom that had rodents storing pecans in his straight shot pipes. Peppered the poo out of his truck when fired it up with garage door open - good story that we still laugh about ! |

Why not run a belt to a supercharger. Hit them with a little shot of vitamin B when you want some boost. They could rest when you are running easy. |

I was getting a BMW running for a friend. It was his brother's bike and had been sitting for 6 years in a barn. I pulled the air cleaner and saw the luxury living quarters of one lucky mouse. He didn't even poo in there, it was really set up nice! Better house keeper than I am!! |
