I am going to be installing the EBR modified rotor very soon. While my charging system is working fine at the moment, I will likely remove my stator and get the hi-temp rewind from Rick's while it is apart. I spoke to a rep at Rick's and she said that if I send them my voltage regulator, they will make up a mosfet regulator to match that will be plug and play for an easy install. Has anybody here done that with them or have any comments/suggestions about that plan? thanks, I appreciate the help I have been getting from quite a few forum members!! Mort |

I put a Mosfet on mine when it was pretty much new. I hated the heat that the Ducati Shunt R/R put out. No upgraded stator or rotor on my 08 and Ive never had any issues. |

Mort, did you move forward with the Mosfet from Rick's and how is it? I've got their stator and am very happy with it, but I've got to do my VR also. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! |

Hi Natc- I have the stock voltage regulator, stock stator, and EBR modified rotor with HD harness fix removed. Just a few hundred miles on this set up and charging fine so far. My bike only has about 3,200 miles on it and had the Hd harness on it from new until I recently removed it following the EBR rotor install. Mort |
