Aaron, That's different. You might want to repost those dyno charts with the NOS on the RR and maybe dig up a link or two to those S2's with the Aerocharger Turbos. If we're spending Rocket's money, we might as well make sure he gets all of the go fast goodies I drool over and can take full advantage of that Baker 6 speed. In the meantime, I will continue to fix my S2 with only the best (cheap) used parts I can find. Or until my wife disowns me. Whichever occurs first. Arvel

Yeah, I have to admit, dual rim brakes and a single sided swingarm are pretty far up the "trick" scale. But so are CF wheels in my book. Lessee ... we take Rocket's wheels & frame, Hein's brakes & swingarm, get a 6-speed ... hmmm. AW |

Vikeeeekeee : You of all people should know Blake doesn't allow blasphemy on Badweb. Anyone who wants carbon Dymags can get their own. Same go's for the plated frame , hands off ! Tim : So about £1500. Is that a UK price ? Jeez, as if the maths isn't enough, one would also require the Bandit Werks clutch, and that means more ratios to calculate and more mulah from the bank manager Rocket in England, dreaming ! |

Rocket Hands off the plated frame? I wonder what an X1 would look like with a plated frame, polished tail/arm and aluminum bodywork......... That price was stateside earlier this year. Got the US gearing yet? Works a treat! Tim |

Pete, Aaron, thanks for the nice words, but for me the dream is almost over. Have a look at my post in the quick board under broken engine mount stud and mourn with me. Aaron, please let me know what you think. Mourning S1brokenWL Hein in Am*dam |

This is a question for those outside the US. Since I've sold my S3, I've been looking around for a replacement and came across a Honda Varadero. The only problem is the store wants to retire from the sale of this bike, $14,000 USD! Question: How much do they go for, offshore? Thanks, Rick |

Ricky, Honda's official price in Holland is 26,995 Dutch Guilders which is fairly close to the price of an X1. At todays cross rates that is $10,552. PPiA |

I could be rude and just write NO. Truth is, very few bikes on the planet stir my soul. As far as I'm concerned it has to look the biz for me to want it. Once that HUGE detail is sorted, it has to do the biz too ! After all, having a trophy wife is no good if she's crap in bed. This bike stirs my soul............ Rocket in England |

Ricky, Personally, no I wouldn't. I also have a BMW R1100GS which is a direct competitor to the Varadeo. I'm a big fan of these bikes and would buy another one over the Honda. Just my preference. PPiA |

Thanks for the help, guys. Looks like I'm talking myself into a Triumph. Kinda different from the Honda, to say the least. |
