I'm looking at adding hard bags to my Uly. I have the factory side case mounts and wanted to see what else might fit besides the factory hard bags. I don't need huge bags at the moment, just enough to carry my stuff to work.

Any of the Hepco Becker bags will fit

42 L OEM Journeys

37 L Gobis

30 L Juniors

And almost anything else HB has to offer.

Sounds like you might benefit from the 30 L Juniors or Outdoorsman bags.

Good Luck

Check the classifieds.

There are multiple listing for all three types there.

Of course, you can also use the soft bags from the Lighting line, but would not need the racks.

Regards

Of course, YRMV

I saw the Outdoorsman bags you have listed. I'd like those but don't have the cash at the moment. I've already spent enough with you!

You may want to look at these if you are thinking of buying new stuff.

This gear should fit your OEM frames as it can be adapted for fit almost anything and as you can see you can add to the system and even carry water and fuel safely. The quality is just amazing and something you do not find much (ten year warranty) these days. It, just my opinion, makes the OEM HB stuff look VERY second rate.

I went with generic aluminum panniers. Mine are from Muffin Top Industries, which are basically less expensive copies of Happy Trails.

They bolted onto the factory racks just fine, with the Happy Trails mounting pucks.
