Hey everyone, I havn't posted about the trip yet, but both I and the bike survived nicely. Riding through the blue ridge/smoky mountians is an amazing (and fun) experience. I had a ball in West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina. I never made it to The Dragon, but I found some great roads in the other direction. Becki and I spent a day two upping around the piedmont triad which was a lot of fun as well. Elli, slept all day and fussed all night. So hopefully there is some sleep for the weary now that we're home! JT | ||

oh yes!! There are about 30 pics of me on the site from that weekend. I bought 16 from them. They do nice work. I still say we get a club trip together for next year. You know what it's like Griz, and you weren't kidding when you said I'd make it a yearly trip. It would be more fun with a big group though! My wife liked it so much, we just got back from Ukes ( looking at a Blast for her). Saw the new CityX, and it looks a lot better in person! | ||

Got your e-mail Dyna before I left this morning, good thing huh !!! LOL GREAT ride to House on Rock, that place was cool !! We hit the special, half price admission !! Hope everyone got home safely, and I hope Dyna and Dee and had fun in Madison !! Ride home got COLD, but a hot chocolate stop helped a lot !! Pics later !! CJ | ||

Tell ya what..im beat. Close to 400 miles for us rd trip. At least the half price admission made it a little easier to swallow. Nancy was having a great time trying out all the seats, couches, beds, etc that are in the house. She's still hurting a bit from her little wall incident a few weeks ago so we took it ez on her. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the trip out..although I know the trip back always suck...interstate, a little rain, etc. We took the back roads out, hit a little of the Kettle Moraine forest, & then hwy A was a nice twisty road...coulda done without the 4 miles of gravel they threw down in 1 section for some reason. Nice asphalt road & they had a fine layer of gravel sprinkled on top...Nancy & CJ dont have any fear of gravel anymore. The House is cool, but they could knock off 2/3rds of the other crap in the buildings afterwards & I would be fine with it. We were all getting tired & a bit overwhelmed by how much walking is involved as well as just how much crap can someone collect. Pics to follow later. | ||
