Purchased a Fehling rack from a fellow inmate. Does anyone know the bolt thread and size that mounts the rack to the Uly's grab handles. Several posts have said it is an 5/16 fine thread, however, there does not seem to be any threads in the grab handles. There is a hole, but no thread. Thanks | ||

that's not good. are you the original owner? did it get stripped out? I meant to mention, be very careful mounting that rack. I stripped mine the first time and had to retap the holes. test all the bolts before you try to match up the rack. There are additional directions on the twisted throttle site (although I think there were directions in the sealed pack from fehling I sent you) | ||

5/16" course (not fine), I believe, unless it's stripped. Or maybe wasn't threaded at factory. (Message edited by arry on July 02, 2012) | ||

Thank Arry It would be difficult for someone to strip out both side, however, stranger things have happened. Will get a 5/16 tap and rethread. Thanks |
