With my crank change, can anyone tell me what the the torque specs are for the crank bolt that holds the stator/primary on? I thought I remembered a note from the factory that changed it to 250 ft/lb. I sure can't find that information now. Found out on another site the bolt torque is 160-170ftlbs. So now we know.   Hughlysses Posted on Friday, March 16, 2012 - 09:22 pm:        Dennis- he put an 08 crankshaft in his 07 cases. The 08 crank has a bigger rod journal (1.5 inches vs. 1.25 inches) and has a different, beefier spline arrangement on the sprocket side which uses a bolt rather than a nut to secure the sprocket in place. Seems I cannot bump my older thread up so folks can see what no good I've been up to. I'm hoping I'm going to like the XB9 mod. Had to remove the primary cover again so i could bolt the starter up. Doh!
