I realise I've probably missed the boat by a couple of years but does anyone have much experience of this luggage. I've got Givi stuff on the bike at the moment but I want smaller sidecases and a more integrated look to the top case than I have with the Fehling rack and Givi plate. I take it the only way I'll get any is by keeping a look out on ebay. I quite like Touratech stuff but they don't do a topcase. For me the most important thing with luggage is to be able to put a helmet in the top case so I don't have to carry it around with me. |

The Outdoorsman bags are Hepco & Becker 30 liter Junior bags. My wife has over 50,000 miles on hers. We got them with her 2005 Moto Guzzi Breva, and kept them when we sold the bike. After she got her Ss, we got mounting brackets and she uses them daily. They are more waterproof than the Journey bags; hers haven't leaked a bit. |

I love my Outdoorsman cases. They are compact, rugged, and integrate into the bike well. I've ridden through a lot of wet weather and the seals are superior as long as you don't overstuff the cases. My bike slid on its side down a muddy, rocky trail for about 15 feet and the side case held up great. As Crusty mentioned, they are just H&B Juniors without the Buell Logo's, so you'll be able to find the cases easy enough. Actually most all Hepco cases will mount to the Outdoorsman racks (unlike the reverse-mounted stock Journey racks). I know for a while after the Outdoorsman kits had sold out, the individual components were still available. Not sure if that's still the case though... If you can get your hands on the racks, don't think twice about buying them. |

I take it that I can't get the mounts from H&B then. Is the top case a standard H&B item too? I'll try my dealer for the rack but it seems to me that if there will be no more available from HD the restriction on H&B producing them should be lifted. Thanks for the quick advice. |

The cases (and mounting footprints) are all standard HB - Outdoorsman or Journey bags. Racks are - currently, anyway - dealer only. But once you get the racks...ANY HB bag will fit up to the Outdoorsman racks (the Journey racks put the bags too far forward on the bike and they interfere if your passenger has those pesky "leg" appendages). |

Agreed with everyone else. They're excellent, waterproof cases. Hate the clam shell design, but that's true of all clam shell bags. I never used the topbox on my XP because it just looked way too goofy on the Uly, but it now lives on my Triumph Tiger XC. They're tough bags. They've, uhh, supported the weight of my XP a few times |

Great thing bout the side bags is When your Uly naps, it's already 1/3 of the way to being upright! Much Easier to do the 3-point pick-up! And Yes, the clamshells Are Tough. b. |

Helpful as always. I'll ask about the scenery too while I'm at the dealer! |

I guess it's too bad HB can't sell the frames. |
