Them damn things ain't pricey.The one's that spin when your not move'n are.I ounce asked a guy at a car wash how much and he told me like $2500 a wheel without a tire on it???Then I looked at the car a 95 lumina.The wheels alone worth more then the car but hey whatever floats the boat.

I heard it said that because a cash car purchase over 10 grand must be reported, that they instead "display" their mojo thru bling.

The smart ones split the payments over 3 days so they are only paying in cash so much each day to get around that part.

Down here you can rent "bling". There are shops popping up all over that will rent you the wheels.

on a side note...

I watched a guy mounting his blings to his ratty ole car the other day. The adapter kit for the knof-offs was valued at more the the car to start with. Gotz em mounted and "new" bling mobile lowered back down. Made a turn out of the driveway and commenced to drive down the street removing all the excess rubber. With the fender wells and lips. Sometimes it is fun to just sit and watch the unmechanically inclined try and do stuff. How the other one who attempted to stuff a radiator that was 3 inches wider than his frame rails; between them. Not to metion that 3/4 of the fins were plugged with mud.
