sorry to bore everyone again but I broke my third belt about 30 min. ago. This belt was the one with the new part number. I referenced the #'s with the 1st 2 and it was different. H-D of the Woodlands told me this one was the new one buell had put out and was supposed to be stronger than the last one. By the way when I change tires or swap belts I make Damn sure not to tweek or bend it in any way and am very meticulous with it since I heard that was the reason some belts were snapping. I have only had this 9 since last Aug. I paid for the first 2 belts because I couldnt afford to wait 2 weeks to leave it in the shop but frankly I am tired of walking. I am taking it to H-D of the woodlands tomorrow and want them to replace it under warranty. Should I expect them to cover it? Sorry about the same old subject but like I said Im just tired of getting stranded. Thnx for any feedback. |

I would definetely get it under warranty...It would seem that it might be something else causing your problem since you've gone thru 3. Maybe take a good look at the sprockets and housings for shards or nicks? Sorry Bro. |

either replace the whole belt drive system with the XB12 parts, or convert to chain drive. |
