Because the official dealers suck in Spain, they don't want to tell any ref/part number, anyone can check if this part number is right for a 1125 CR 2010 speedometer?
Y0500.2AM (this number cames from a 2009 parts manual)

Thanks

Correct, but I believe it was superseded to Y0500.2AMA

Froggy, I found this...
"2010 model year instrument cluster will not retrofit back due to hardware change for new turn signals"

So Y0500.2AMA is for 2009 model and the Y0500.3AMA for the 2010 model? , so that's the ref I need, wow man it's so complicated, and with our non collavorative HD dealers, sucks...
I don't know if this issue about part number silence with the dealers happens in the States, if not lucky people you are.

thanks

Sorry, didn't see that you needed a 2010 cluster. Yes you want Y0500.3AMA : )

.3AM is obsolete, you can only get .3AMA now. The new one has slightly different programming to prevent an issue with it displaying a low fuel light and check engine light when driven in below freezing temps.

I doubt that is true as the 2010 turn signals will retrofit to earlier models - they work with no issues as I have swapped them on my 2008 R.

Put 2008 turn signals on a 2010 bike and tell me what happens. : )

Also, disconnect one of your turn signals see if the other one will flash fast or not. The difference between the two years was the change from LED to incandescent bulbs, so the programming in the cluster was changed so it can correctly detect when you have a signal out.

Ros, you will be fine.

Thanks dude!!!
I'm a newbee in parts/mechanics and the non-usefulhelp of Spanish dealers didn't help!!

Thanks again, when I replace the speedo I'll tell how it works and if can do it myself.

If you never visit Barcelona you have a beer!!
