Just go home a little after 9:00 pm. We got somewhat of a late start and didn't leave Crater Lake until around 1:00. The ride was great other then a better return route needs to be planed for next year. The roads going by Cougar reservoir into Oakridge is just awesome. Union Creek resorts was just great and very fun. I am sure Adam or Paul can fill in with the story telling. Will post pictures soon. Cant wait to see some of Thpods photos as well. |

Sharon would like to thank all the PBR riders for allowing her to participate and feel welcomed on this ride. She wants to all to know she had a great time. She would especially like to point out that she smoked Adam on multiple occasions and he should consider himself thoroughly owned by a girl. |

Here are some of the Photos I took. http://s490.photobucket.com/albums/rr267/PBRider/P BR%20Crater%20Lake%202009/?albumview=slideshow I suck at story telling so I will leave it up to you guys. All I can say is that for those that did not go this was a blast. |

The following things happened, not necessarily in chronological order - Saturday started out freezing cold and ended up F-ing hot - Some stuck screws on some bikes, some very loose screws on other bikes - Muffler strap broke on Paul's bike - Muffler was repaired with a few clothes hangers (very handy to have around BTW) - Much much beer and other alcoholic beverages were consumed - Some minor mishaps involving vomit (I will say no more) but see above reference to alcohol - Some hangovers were had - We got started very late on Sunday (see above reference to alcohol) - We got home very very late on Sunday (see above reference to alcohol and hangovers) - We tried to find Buell Oregon. And even though we did indeed find it, the only evidence appears to be Buell Park (see my photos) - RT 97 is very straight and very boring and very long - I learned the hard way that my wife has a faster bike than I do. Maybe it's not the bike... - A baby size ice cream cone at Union Creek involves at least 3 scoops - I have a very handy tool sac, but it is incomplete without Daniel's tool (you can interpret that however you like) - Indoor furniture can be easily converted into outdoor furniture, simply by moving it outside (news to me) - Many things were burned, but luckily the furniture was not one of them - That is not to say that the furniture made it out unscathed (see above reference to vomit) - Paul is permanently banned from making coffee (see photos) - Try as it might a pink girly Yamaha bike doesn't look like a Buell from any camera angle - Aron is pronounced ARE-in not ah-RON. - Latus is pronounce LAY-tus, not LAH-tus - Dave had a few "I love you man" moments, but we forgive him for that cause he was drunk - The stars at night are big and bright <clap><clap><clap><clap><clap> deep in the heart of Oregon? - When being followed by the cops it is highly recommended to go 40 mph even if it seems like you are in a 55 zone. Eventually the cops will get sick of following your slow ass and pass you - very nicely done Dave - Nobody wrecked! We all had a great time!! - We will do this again next year!!! Great pics - even better list, Adam. Now I am even more bummed that my project went long and I missed out! (not on the vomit or Hangover) Nice small warming fire, are you sure the couch survived? - looks like the inspection the next day may have been a little blurred. |

So how many miles did you guys log over the 2 days? Great list by way.....wondered about the out door living room furniture arrangements. I don't tend to stop at motels with that kind of outdoor decor set up or bright red porch lights for that matter. Glad to hear that the unplanned broken stuff was minimal. |

Sharon reminded me I forgot one more. Perhaps the most important geography lesson we learned over the weekend. How could I forget??? - Sweden (home of ARE-in) is the penis and Norway and Finland are the balls |
