then i called the dealer to make another appointment for next wednesday morning. trouble i am having is that i need this bike for all transpo needs. hoping that they will be able to do the diagnostic work then let me ride untill the parts show up we shall soon see

What diagnostic work do they need to do? Yo must have already diagnosed the problem if you've got a reference number from them..

Or did you mean you've got the part numbers and the dealer will still need to confirm the problem first?

My dealer is starting to come around to my way of thinking - I know more about the bike than they do so i just tell them what's wrong, give them the part number and they deal with HD to get paid - it means less down time as I don't need them to diagnose anything - I have Badweb to do that LOL

she said that the dealer has to officially diagnose the problem before anything else can happen.

the ref # is from buell tech support

basically yeah they need to look it over officially say yup and order some parts.

something else i am wondering about is the false nuetrals. mostly mine happens between 5th and 6th but today it happened between 3rd and 4th
