I'm going to bring my CR to a trackday once the stator issue is resolved. Does anyone know how to disconnect the mirrors? I removed the single bolt but there's a wire going somewhere on it. How do I unplug this this wire?

As Andros said. It is so easy you won't believe it.

1. might have to cut a zip tie or two.

2. The torx shoulder bolts holding the flyscreen

3. the Male-Female plugs. :-)

all responses appreciated. one more question; how do i get the headlight to turn off? i will need to tape it up and i rather not have it melt the tape residue. removing the fuse for the headlight also disables the bike. do you guys just unplug it?

You could look for an old headlight assembly on ebay, i am going to use my old headlight assembly for the track, it got smashed up in a wreck, so i can just tape it up and not worry about it.

I am pretty sure the bike will run with the headlight unplugged, so you can just tape it and unplug it.
