Has anyone looked into replacing them with ceramic bearings. I know that most general sizes for both motorcycles and cars are now available. I also know that there are cheep Chinese versions which i would avoid, but still it seems like an alternative. For just a little more money (~$400 total), you can upgrade to the 2010 rear wheel and axle with 3 (vs. 2) larger bearings and external dust seals.
