ive got an 08 XB12XT and i want the confort kit to cool me down a bit. Apparently the 09-10 models have an air scoop which closely resembles the left side whereas the confort kit offered for previous years is a smaller size and looks out of place. first question is, on the 09-10s, does the scoop also have the interior air guides as does the confort kit or is it just a scoop? either way, which is more efficient for cooling? got no problem buying one or the other or both, but got a problem with fact that my bike is a 5MZ... vin number and has catalytics and O2 sensor. thus the part number i find for the kit ends in 3AK instead of 1AK. can anyone help on numbers or sourcing? |

Yes get the kit with .3ak, as it is the only one that will fit your bike due to the different exhaust system. |
