Anyone out there have grip sleeves on a Ulysses? If so, where did you purchase them? Thanks}

If you are talking about "Grip Puppies", then yes from these people: casporttouring.com

Wonder if they would act like insulation and overheat the grip heaters? I could actually use a little insulation there but not if it hurts the heaters.

The grip puppies don't effect the grip heaters from what I can tell. I didn't notice any difference after I installed the grip puppies. The heaters still get to "roast" fairly quickly. I do love those pups, by the way! They're cheap, look good and are very effective.

Looks like the foam heated grips on my Geezer Glide. Here's a link:

I ran into a guy at a local dealer who had a Ulysses with grip sleeves on his bike, but didn't know where they came from (bought it used) I asked him about the heaters and he said that they did not affect the heaters, only took longer to get to cooking temp! due to the thickness I guess.

I got a set on my Uly when I bought it, and pulled them. I put on the enduro grips that Al sells, and like them.

I think they are in decent shape and I think I can find them...

Make me an offer...

I just put on a pair of cheapo foam and velcro ones that I got from a Yamaha shop. They have been laying around for a couple of years so I figured I'd try them out on the Uly. they'll probably be good for highway riding but they're a little bulky for the fun roads.
