Do you know if it has any advantages over the 5mm rotor besides the obvious 1mm making it last longer?

I just bought the 5mm rotor and kit for 145 I think.
So this isn't a bad deal!

Better braking charactoristics, heat dispersal, lever feel ect for aggressive riding. For those who putt around town never getting out of 3rd gear you'd be best off saving your money for the next insurance payment.
