I should be really hurt right now. I have no idea how I ain't. Jeff was the only witness, but I hit a tar snake right before 146, had the bars almost rip outta my hands, and then my bike stood up after I got traction back. (this was at full lean). Truly a testicle retracting moment. Yay motorcycles!!! Home in time for the second half.

You guys are slackin'. Not one incident today.... That I saw anyways.

Good day to be out there, I hope to get more rides in before the cold/snow sets in.

Way to save it Chippy...what's this "Full Lean" thing you speak of?

Great ride today, Chipp, I rather not see that kind of play in the corners anymore.

I am unsure what happen to the rest of the crowd near the end, I tried to wait a couple times. (I think the carbon was slowing things down) I guess everyone went home when the pace picked up.

Full-Lean (ful-leen), noun: The point at which an individual damn near shits his or her pants while cornering a motorcycle, given speed, corner radius, and weather/road conditions. This angle varies depending upon rider experience and testicle size.

Frankie Zorn, Team Red Bull, would have to be on the other side of the ice before he shat himself.

When Chuck Norris is at "full-lean" he drags his outside knee.

IMPOSSIBLE!! Chuck Norris doesn't drag a knee, the ground leans to his knee when he rides..

I think he's pulling a "Saintly"; jump in with something off the wall and see what happens. Remember the Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich episode?

Semper Fi!

All joking aside....

Today is the Marine Corps Birthday of 2009, a day we remember for many reasons. Tomorrow is Veterans' Day so it only seems appropriate to celebrate the USMC birthday today.

November 10 marks the 234th birthday of the Marine Corps. Thank you to the soldiers who served and the families who shared them. Also thank you to the soldiers currently serving and risking their lives everyday for our safety and freedom. For those who survived battle, welcome home.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 the armistice ending fighting in WWI, the war to end all wars, was signed. While the peace did not last, the date gained recognition throughout the western world.

Originally, the date was marked as Armistice Day, but when the losses mounted in the many wars that followed, the name was changed to allow all soldiers from all wars to be honored.

In Canada, as in the UK, November 11th is called Remembrance Day - in the U.S. It's Veterans Day.

In every country, the day is usually marked with parades, ceremonies, speeches - and a moment of silence - to honor those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their countries in the two World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, the Falklands, Lebanon, Desert Storm, Afghanistan ... and now Iraq.

Dignitaries gather to place wreaths on the tombs of unknown soldiers who rest in anonymous honor, as a symbol of all who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

The Flanders Fields poppy, symbolic of the bloodshed, is today a universal symbol sported on caps and lapels to honor war veterans everywhere, with wreaths of the bright red flowers decorating war memorials and in gardens of remembrance around the world...

Thank You!

Hey Guys, Hey,

I'm still new, and don't know how many Vet's are in the group. I would like to say thank you to those of you who are. And thank you if you aren't but have relatives especially Kids who are. Supporting them is just as important.

It is very important that you shake the hand of a soldier today, let them know that we appreciate their work.
