I have to much voltage 15.4 v. at battery. replaced the voltage regulator no help any other ideas new stator?

if its the stator what other yrs. will work. would any of the HD stators work? mine is a 2008 uly

All 2008-10 XB models use the same Stator/VR/etc.

Without testing anything, it does sound like a VR issue, so I am surprised replacing it didn't fix the problem.

A bad stator correctly connected to a good voltage regulator cannot create a high voltage situation.
