![The leak](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/512514.jpg) These two bolts started leaking fluid after I removed them to drain the tranny oil. I re tightened them and the fluid still seeps out. Any ideas? |

Maybe need a new primary gasket. The chin fairing uses the several of the primary bolts to secure it on. you could try snugging up the rest of the primary bolts and see if it helps. Do you need the torque spec? Don't over-tighten them, the block is aluminum. |

If you were able to drain the gearbox oil out thru either of those two holes the primary gasket needs replaced. Primary/Tranny drain plug (5/8" hex)is above the muffler in the left side center case and visible in your picture. |

I had the same problem. plus the bolts wanted to back out. I cleaned the holes out real good, used a bunch of loc-tite, and both problems are now solved. ![: )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/happy.gif) |
