Keep your Uly. The Uly will cost you far less in maintenance than a BMW or Duc would if you dont do your own work. Besides the buy in price of those bikes is too high. Keep you Uly, ride the hell out of it and you wont regret it! |

I like my Uly a lot, but I think I liked the Lightning Long I had as much, if not more. The closest match I know of is the Ducati Monster. It is similar to the Lightning in a lot of ways. I had a Monster 900 and it was rock solid reliable. Maintenance was not that bad. It is a simple enough bike that you can do most things yourself. With no more Buells I will probably take a close look at the Ducati when it is time to get the next bike |

My next bike will be the 2011 Uly. I will buy it after they re-open the factory. Got to keep the dream alive. |

Sure hope it doesn't become the "Fulysses" from Fuji Heavy Industries! |

"Sure hope it doesn't become the "Fulysses" from Fuji Heavy Industries!" That's a good one. On the positive side, Fuji owns Subaru so the new "Fulysses" might be 2 wheel drive. |

I have to say, I keep looking at the Ducati Multistrada, but it won't happen until the Uly gets old and gray. Still want to test ride one. |
