Damn Lee you just made me a smile, remembering my motox days. I raced a yz450f, power is amazing in those thumpers. |

Ok now that I have officially killed this board. I figured I would put a nail in the coffin and see who is thinking about doing Bikers for Babies? |

Me and a couple guys met up last year at Home Depot on 119th and that worked pretty well. Say about 7:15 or so? I think we'll do the same this year if interested, then just register when we get there. |

Rusty, Why does it not surprise me that is your grandson? It's been awhile since I have seen you, but I think I see a little bit of grandpa in him! So I leave for Spain and Portugal for two weeks on Thursday. We got tickets to the Moto GP race in Estoril, Portugal. I am so pumped! |

Wow that's gonna be quite the trip! I assume its not a business trip? That reminds me, I need to get a passport for a trip next year. Did you already have one, or how long did it take to get everything? On another note, met up with a new bueller yesterday who lives in shawnee. His name is shawn and just bought a brand new '04 12S from gails. Its all decked out with the crazy red "fusion" plastics or whatever they're called, with matching red wheels. I told him about the site so he might show up soon. He planned on riding b4b, which by the way who is going?? |

I am gome for B4B if I get my rocker box gaskets fixed. I talk to sam and I think he is game too. we also talked about running the course backwards. I will offer my place as a pit stop since it is right on the course. |

Duff, The passport process is better now then it was earlier this year. Ours came in exactly 8 weeks. Go to the Post Office to get one. They cost about $100. This trip is for pleasure. No business on this one. It will be the first long vacation since we got married. |

I was just gonna register at the speedway that mornin. Lee, I'm afraid to ask, but what time were you planning to leave? Call me crazy but we could ride into town together. Like I said before, I think a few of us are plannin on meeting at olathe home depot. So has the thought crossed your mind about converting your crf into a super motard? :-) |

Yes, the SM thought has crossed my mind many times. However, the $1k+ cost for that mod is a huge hurdle when I think of all the other fun to be had for the same $$. Besides, I'm having far too much fun in the dirt. We have some awesome riding areas within an hour from here. As for B4B, I am open to leaving whenever so long as we get there in time to register those who have not yet done so and leave before it gets too late to get back in time for lunch (unless we decide to eat elsewhere like we did last year). I would prefer to go out to breakfast (I'm just wired that way), but I won't be too hurt if nobody else is into it. That said, you tell me what time, and I'll show up in your driveway ready to go. Here is the event schedule from the B4B website: # 8 - 10 a.m. Register and RIDE Riders may depart for the 88-mile all-Kansas ride any time between 8 - 10:30 a.m. Chris Cakes Pancake Breakfast -- "All you can eat that you can catch!" ($5) # 8 - 9 a.m. Grand Donors and VIP Breakfast # 9:15 a.m.Opening ceremonies Presentation of Colors and National Anthem Blessing of the bikes Johnny Dare, 98.9 The Rock, Honorary Chairman Gary Amble, KCTV5, Emcee The McBurneys -- March of Dimes Ambassador Family # 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Dealers' Expo Peoples' Choice Bike Show (register before 1 p.m.) Victory Lane commemorative photos ($10) The Edge of Forever - Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band # 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Lunch - compliments of Hooters # 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Trials Riders stunt riding shows # 1 p.m. People's Choice Bike Show - judging begins # 2 p.m. Grand Donors ride laps on Kansas Speedway track # 2:30 p.m. Awards and drawing for 2008 Harley-Davidson® Dyna® FXDB Street Bob® (Message edited by lowflyer on September 13, 2007) |

Yeah paul, thanx for the help and puttin up with me all day yesterday! It was a good time after all was said and done. Just so happened it worked out that we rode thru gardner so I could switch bikes. I don't think the stuntbike has seen that many miles since the conversion! Saw several buells there, even a couple new ones. Lee, saw you ride by when we were gassing up in edgerton. Sorry we didn't get together to ride. Seems like so many people were trying to meet up somewhere but couldn't get with everybody. (Message edited by duff24 on September 17, 2007) |

ran into a fellow bueller riding cross-country today. he might even be more dedicated than some guys i know (Lee....ahem.....Loren). Can you guess where he was riding from? I didn't even know the '08 models were out but that's what he said it was! enjoy...

That is definitely an '08. You can tell by the shape of the timing cover. The fact that he has a Zumo mounted on his bike speaks volumes about his character as well as his intellect. |
